By Train
There is no direct access to Bhutan via railway. Visitors can board a train to NJP and finally enter Phuentsholing via Jaigaon by road.
By Road
You have to pass through three border points to reach Bhutan by road. Take a car, or auto-rickshaw to reach Phuentsholing, and then you can proceed onwards after getting your permit.

Summer
Summer begins in Bhutan in June and last till August. The month is excellent to conduct all outdoor activities and sightseeing.
Monsoon
Bhutan witnesses mild monsoons from June to August, especially during the afternoons. However, Bhutan doesn’t get heavy rainfall or heavy monsoon.
Winter
The winter month in Bhutan ranges between December to February. It gets colder in the season of January until the spring arrives in February.
